Service and Parts Manager
Parts and Service Manager – Biomass Heating

This new post is an excellent opportunity for a person with electrical and/or mechanical experience. Previous management experience is an advantage and evidence of previous successful team working is essential.
After extensive training, locally and in Austria, the successful candidate will first develop a full knowledge of Herz and Polytechnik heating systems, their installation and maintenance. They will then continue to build and develop our service department.
Key duties will include the instruction and scheduling of service staff, breakdown assessment, customer care, stock control and procurement.
Computer skills and the ability to deal with people are important attributes.
The successful applicant should be enthusiastic and motivated and will join a team of 12 staff, in a pleasant and good humoured workplace.
The successful applicant could be offered share options to encourage a long term commitment, in return for a stake in the future development and success of the company.

Rural Energy Ltd is a leading UK supplier and installer of commercial, automatic wood heating systems, used in schools, offices and public and private business premises. The company has 6 years experience as an installer in the UK and has installed 120 heating systems. Historically, these have been concentrated in the East Midlands, but rapid sales growth in the last 2 years has now extended our effective area to the whole of the UK mainland.
We are sole importers of Austrian Herz and Polytechnik heating systems. These 2 companies, together, produce a range of systems from 25kW to 20MW, in size, and include wood pellet, wood chip and other biomass fuel types.
Renewable wood fuel is sourced from local woodlands and recycled sources. Rural Energy Ltd has two associate companies; one is involved in the supply of wood fuels to biomass heating systems and the other with biomass advice consultancy and training
Installation and Servicing Engineer
Installation and Servicing Engineer – Biomass Heating

This is an ideal opportunity for an installation engineer, who is looking for a unique and challenging opportunity.
Specific duties will involve the supervision of assembly and wiring of commercial wood heating boilers and fuel feeding systems. Service and breakdown cover will also be part of the responsibility.
A willingness to travel to projects sites, with some nights away from home, will be a feature of the work
Full product training will be provided, both in the UK and Austria.
Ideally, the post will involve considerable electrical installation work and so would suit an appropriately qualified person with a good mechanical aptitude.

Sales and Technical Assistant
Technical Sales and Advisory Assistant – Biomass Heating

This new post is created to provide support to the existing Technical Sales Coordinator.
Key duties include providing early stage technical advice on biomass heating and company products to potential clients, supporting client requests for information, preparing quotations and liaison with the 15 sales managers of our marketing partner.
Computer skills and an excellent telephone manner are essential. Experience with CAD would be useful
The post would suit a recent technical graduate or a more experienced person with a technical bias.
The successful applicant would have good promotion potential within the company.
